Where is Waldo? Look On Site Meter!

Because a fellow blogger thought Valerie from Paris might feel I was harrassing her by posting the supposed location of her ISP, I have removed it --unless someone wants to make more of it than they should with wild accusations of what the post really says. In that case, I'd have to re-post it. The post itself was benign, not unfriendly and not intended to frighten Valerie --as was the case when my actual address was posted in the past.

Site Meter is amazing and does take us all over the world with our blogging.

I don't think anyone was frightened - but convicted and torn in what she's believed in and what she maybe thinking about now :-)

And those around her would rather her not get to start thinking about God and Jesus - if she starts thinking she may develop a relationship there. So they'll do all kinds of gyrations to make sure she thinks anyone who loves God or tries to serve His son are not worthy - wrong, crazy maybe.

Cheap tricks, happens all the time. Sometimes though, it doesn't work and people start to think for themselves :-)

The problem with what you said, kateb, is they believe we are the ones who do not think for ourselves.

How many times have Barb and I been ridiculed as insane and in Barb's case a vile portrait of her hanging on the cross?

Hopefully the seed has been planted in at least semi-fertile soil, but if one starts to wonder someone else comes in to straighten them up to keep not believing or whatever the cause of the day is over there.

That surprises me but it's probably true. Only people who don't know Jesus could think this - since he went against the current status quo and rebelled against the good ol' boy network of his time.

But the world lies about him. Always has.

kateb,

If you haven't seen firsthand how they conduct their blog you should email Barb and ask for the URL so you can see for yourself.

A word of caution: Don't make any comments unless you have (a)either no intention to go back or (b)thick skin. And always take the Lord with you when you go there.

Thanks Jeanette but no thanks. Since they're able to quote scripture I know that they've been offered the scripture and refused it.

I am commanded not to consort with such as those.

Today I am traveling to see my parents, we are planning a trip to Israel. The Lord has been very good to me and I intend to spend this little time off I have enjoying the feast before me :-)

Going to Israel has been my dream, but my husband won't go because he's afraid war will break out.

I told him I couldn't think of a better place to die, but so far no dice.

Have a great time, but bring some snacks. Friends who have been there many times have said the food isn't all that great. So you can eat the local food and realize what Jesus also ate. Can't be bad.

I agree, what better place to go! I will take some snacks. And some stuff for the local kids.

I'm really excited after the meeting. I can't wait to see Galilee and the Jordan.....

I hope you get to go someday.
