Muckraker Makes Muck Again --Muckrageously!!

Mudrake posted the following definition --because I told him in private correspondence (i.e. it's private when I comment on his moderated blog, because he refuses to allow me or any other conservative Christian woman to comment at his blog--it's a Boys' Club) --So I told him that he "sounded stupid" on the topic of Liberty U. not allowing a democratic party club on campus since the u. opposes abortion and gay marriage --and they are a private uni. I knew he would not post my comment or I would not have called him "sounding stupid" in a public forum --I knew he would not print it, but instead, he did something that makes him sound even MORE stupid. First, he posted the following definition:

stu-pid:
1 a: slow of mind : obtuse b: given to unintelligent decisions or acts : acting in an unintelligent or careless manner c: lacking intelligence or reason : brutish
2: dulled in feeling or sensation : torpid
3: marked by or resulting from unreasoned thinking or acting : senseless

So I told him in an unprinted comment that he qualifies at least for no. 3 above --by some things he has done, like posting names and addresses and creating sock puppets with phony profiles using our names.

So once again, being "dulled in feeling" and "lacking reason," he created a profile for Barb and posted on his blog the following --which I obviously did not write:

You are stupid! I said it and I mean it!! Secular humanists like you (or should I use the more correct word, ATHEIST???) are ruining this country. The sinfulness, the porn, the homosexuality, the free sex, the aborted babies, the attempts to take God out of the classroom, and more.

God's wrath will be on this nation again- with more hurricanes and drought and locusts and plagues due to the disobedience of His Laws!

Jesus weeps at gay marriage and homosexuals running free all across America, and we will pay for this abomination- we already paid for this wit the natural disasters etc. 'I then will destroy your high places, and cut down your incense altars, and heap your remains on the remains of your idols, for My soul shall abhor you.'

I'm not sure if he hates God or republicans more, but, getting off Mudrake, let me make this comment:

The bible states that even Satan knows the word of God.

It's interesting how atheists will quote scripture (usually from the Old Testament Laws)to Christians in their arguments.

I admit I do not know how to reason with an atheist about God's perfect love for His children, but they don't seem to get it that when Jesus died the veil in the Temple was rent in half, and the meaning of that was that man was no longer under the Mosaic Law, but now under the New Covenant of Grace.

All I can do is pray for him that he will come to Jesus before it's too late.

Read the newspapers and compare them to Ezekiel 38 and 39, Daniel and Revelation. You'll think you are reading today's headlines in these books.

And yet,they are blind. There are too many souls ready to receive the Good News that I no longer worry about the ones who have been told over and over again and still refuse it. To me, their hearts are hardened, but I'm not the Holy Spirit and I don't know that for a fact.

Barb this guy is a misogynist and a Christianophobe.

Let he who has ears hear. This guy has been given the testimony - refused it and spends a great deal of time trying to diminish faith among believers.

Why are you interacting with him so much? I'm getting worried about you.

When you meet a true unbeliever you ARE supposed to shake the dirt off your shoes and move down the road. You're not supposed to make it your hobby.

You know? I see why the guy gets to you but it has to be distracting you from your mission. And he's not worth it.

Barb you need to call me right away. I had information from my law firm about his liability in creating those false identities and posting information that would defame us. I don't know why he would be so foolish as to keep doing this, maybe his family doesn't keep or consult a legal retainer - but we do.

And he absolutely can NOT do that.

Kateb --everybody is "worth it."

However, I just respond to what he says because he's so benighted and wrong --and there are so many like him who don't know any better than to agree with him or don't know any better when he lies.

It's like writing the newspaper --we do it because the light of truth needs to shine in the darkness. As a young person, I would read the letters to editors of various publications; Some who read his blog may not be aware of the truth on various issues; people get ideas and perceptions from what they read; the good side needs to be represented in these dark forums.

I can't say that saving his soul is the motivation behind all my comments to him, by any means, though I certainly wish that for him --but telling the truth in dark places is --setting the record straight is.

He came here to post his nastiness about me being more "odd" than a transgender --so I went to comment on his blog and of course, knew he would censor me out over there --but there is a bit of mischief in my opposition to him--I do admit ---I guess I'd like either to shame him or goad him into a better humor --or at least expose him for the fraud and liar he has been --creating new profiles for us and posting in our names, distorting the character and personality of people like us.

He talks about me being that "o so righteous Christian woman." I'm not nearly as self-righteous or judgmental, hateful or bigoted as he is, in my opinion --and do like to point that out.

Yes, Kateb --at times I think mudrake is my hobby !!! HA! and fundamentalist protestants have been his "hobby" or preoccupation since before I first commented at his blog!

I would've liked being on a debate team but never had the opportunity.

Ok, the thought of you on a debate team. Wow....you'd have been unstoppable!!!

I've been in the position where I felt I needed to be an Apologist for Christ when I was young in my faith. I felt I needed to defend him against attacks. Or to ask people not to take God or Jesus' names in vain.

Then I read again, how Jesus trained his disciples for ministry and I realized that he doesn't need me to defend him. Or the father. They are what they are and no man, word or deed will change that.

But Jesus wanted his followers to spread the word. And once someone had heard the gospel and rejected it - he instructed his students to shake the dust off their shoes and move on.

Now that doesn't sound like much in today's society - but in Jesus' time it was one of the rudest things a guest could do.

Servants were kept in most households and trained in receiving guests. The roads were quite dusty and the first courtesy extended was the guests shoes were taken away and cleaned while the master received the guest.

To snatch your shoes prior to or during cleaning, turn your back and leave a place was rude.

But this is what Jesus instructs we are to do when we meet a true unbeliever.

And there's another reason for his answer - if we are taking our limited time and resources to try to convince someone to accept the gospel when they DO NOT WANT TO - we are missing the opportunity to testify to those who should have the opportunity to hear the gospel.

But once the gospel is offered, people have free will to accept it or not and we are in no way responsible for that decision.

That's free will :-)

I'm less concerned about Jesus needing me to defend him --than about political and social truth regarding Christians, Christianity, republicans, conservatives, fundamentalists, etc. I'm concerned about journalistic integrity in the blog world. I'm concerned about the growing persecution and silencing of the church via atheistic hostility --not to mention Islamic hostility.

I also never rule anyone out as a candidate for conversion online --since we don't know who all may be reading who is on the fence, uneducated about Christ, Christianity, Christians. I do witness and evangelize on line--but that's not all I do. Sometimes I'm just setting the record straight when I hear falsehoods --acc'g to my perspective.

Also, I haven't found too many people online who WANT to be evangelized --who are honestly searching for God and salvation. So it's not like I would have an outlet for witness going door to door instead, if I weren't blogging. Have you found blogs where your witness is welcome, Kateb? where people admit to seeking?

As for time invested in witness and ministry, I do that, also. But that's not my sole purpose in blogging.

When I challenge Mudrake on his closed-minded ways and his stifling of free speech, I'm not witnessing to convert him. I'm not casting pearls. I'm pointing out the hypocrisy he accuses others of having.

When MR says the Christians think thus and so and say this and that, and it's not true, I'm sorry that he allows no rebuttal. I think it's counter to his claimed open-mindedness and tolerance that he doesn't allow rebuttal. But I understand it --that rebuttal shows his errors in thinking --his dishonesty and nasty tactics. I think he NEEDS rebuttal for his own soul's sake--and his blog needs rebuttal because it's so negative and fallacious. But he prefers the one-sided negativity and male bloggers, so I have ignored him for long periods of time --but once in awhile i hear of or notice something outrageous he's said and I go in with my flashlight to slosh through the muck and try to shine a little light --even if only in private to him.

I've learned the hard way Barb and I both have been wasting valuable witnessing time on an international (as they like to call it) blog where no one is actually interested in knowing Jesus, but rather in blaspheming Him and the Father. Not to mention the Bible.

It's addictive to stay there, but the habit has to be broken. I cannot speak for Barb as I know she has different opinions, but I know how the Lord has spoken to me about these people and I just have had to say good-bye to them and continue to pray for them.

As for freedom of speech and clearing up lies in the media spread by blogs: if we consider how few people his blog and the others are actually read by anyone, I think our constitution is safe.

The real danger is in our government and we need to work together for the Kingdom of God.

No one is elected to office without the permission of God. This includes the current administration. I'll be here to scream and complain about how he is treating Israel because I believe that is our reason for blessing as a nation. God promised blessings on those who bless Israel, and we have certainly been a blessed country.

Now I pray like Abraham that, for the sake of the few, God will spare us.

We will have to account to our Lord for everything we did after being saved. Do we want Him to tell us we wasted valuable time on those who refused to hear His Gospel message after telling them numerous times with great patience? Sadly, He'll do that with me over this other blog, but I am changing and will not waste His valuable time for such any longer. Time is short and there are many souls still who have not heard the Good News. God will lead us to them if we will but be patient.

Thanks Jeanette for your confirmation. It sounds like our experiences have been very similar!

It's not only addictive but it's a pacifier. If we stay involved in that local and small way - we don't have to do the work of testifying.

I don't think this is an any way wasted as I went to the local gas station today after I posted and made two new witnesses. It energized me. But I decided that I needed to practice what I was saying and there are two new believers tonight.

In a strange way - we can thank muckraker for that :-) If it hadn't been for his evangelical work against God - I'd have just stayed home.

I don't feel addicted to the Fr.-based blog --in that I have left it for MANY months at a time--perhaps over a year (Without studying to be sure, I see that my activity there before now dates back to 2007.) I only went back lately as Jeanette was telling me we were still coming up in their references. She piqued my curiosity. And one of them began to ask, in argument, several questions concerning theological issues. She didn't like the answers, but nevertheless, she had no Biblical knowledge before.

and be sure, Kateb, we really do proclaim the GRACE of the Gospel to all. If I believed in predestination, I would think the PP blog was hopeless for witness based on their responses --but since I believe that God wants ALL to repent and find salvation, I don't give up easily.

I've also ignored Mudrake for months at a time--but I admit there is SOMETIMES some mischief in my motives where he is concerned because he claims to be a tolerant, unbigoted liberal --yet is just outrageous in what he says and does regarding me and should know better --since he knows I know who he is!

My brother tells me every time I mention him, "I tell you, Barbara, that mudrake guy is NUTS! and may be dangerous!" I know he really doesn't want to be thought of in that way --distinguished retired educator that he is. So I like to call him to be reasonable and tolerant as he would claim to be but isn't. I always hope the seed of his childhood faith might emerge from the muck.

Jeanette has announced several times to PP, the French-based blog, in no uncertain terms, that she's not ever coming back--and then relapses. : D Note she calls it an addiction for her --I would call it one of many interests and blogs of interest for me.

I DO love to write and to communicate in writing and to explain or TEACH in writing. Before there was internet, I filled notebooks. So writing might be my addiction.

I don't typically make the PP bloggers any promises one way or another if they really get under my skin and make me want to leave for awhile --and it just depends what they say about or to me--or about Christianity, politics--if the topic interests me -- if I'm motivated or feel led to post something or not. So much there is unfruitful drivel, foul language and blasphemy. They are a most unusual(to me) and interesting group of people. I know God loves them each and longs for their repentance and salvation.

We talk about knowing if we are led of the Lord --I do feel led to blog as I do --I know the heart can be deceitful and that ego can influence motive --but if mere ego were motivating me, seems I would've folded my blog tent a long time ago because I do get crucified daily in Blogville--along with other Christians generally.

I believe in the power of the Word and believe it should be scattered like bread on the waters --and that it will not return void. I believe we are called to go, even into Ninevah where there would seem to be no fertile soil. Yes, Jesus gave an example of shaking the dust off one's feet --and not casting pearls before swine --but he also stood up against critics and hecklers and scoffers in ways that took him to the cross. He drove money-changers out of the temple in no namby-pamby respectful, polite way. But then, He is the Lord, and we are not. We are more often called to be peace-makers than blunder-busses!

I wish the PP bloggers were more unusual and not typical of the world. What is unusual in a positive way about that blog is the "community feel" it has, the personalities and life-stories and artistry they share, the sense I get that this group is THE main social life for some of them. I feel that many of them are very intelligent, and some (not all) very isolated in personal relationships with little family life, and very lonely--if it weren't for the like-minded blog people who truly are friends to each other ---but they are friends to their detriment in encouraging each other in blasphemy, cruelty to believers and lack of faith. They are a clique with all the unwholesome aspects of such a group--particularly, conscience-free "group think."

It is alarming how void of conscience the left-wing people are when it comes to those with whom they disagree. That rude insensitivity is the root of "man's inhumanity to man" that leads to violence and war. Most of them seem absolutely void of conscience when it comes to how they disagree, what they will say, and the blasphemy they commit and the hatred they express. They are cruel and insensitive, rude and foul-mouthed without blinking an eye. Since they preach tolerance and open-mindedness and against war, I challenge them to live up to their professed ideals --when it comes to Christians, social and political conservatives.

The Fr. blog is one where several have no idea what scripture says --raised in a spiritual vacuum or void that Europe has become. That's why our church now has missionaries to Europe. We just heard the ones from Hungary yesterday telling of their work there through English classes, university connections, a "commonplace" common-space community center they run, through literature night, Christmas observance, men's and women's and children's events, and so on. Their actual church established is much smaller than their ministry network because Europeans do not attend church.

I think it's good for us to see how the non-Christian world thinks, what they are saying, etc. and even to experience persecution --such that we get if ever we step out of our sheltered evangelical communities and go "where angels fear to tread."

I do see the American church as a place where the world does come in voluntarily --and so the church is where much of our discipling most effectively takes place --with musical worship, study of the Word, prayer, teaching and preaching. And clearly those who come to church are OPEN to the gospel, SEEKERS. We had a young, professed atheist come to our altar for commitment yesterday. I believe that the Holy Spirit really does speak to us most powerfully in our Bible-believing, holiness-pursuing churches. So, much of my time is spent in church work for that reason.

It's easy to go into all the world through the internet, much harder in one's own local communities, churches and families --where sad to say, religion may not even enter in to influence how we interract. Professing Christian families, church people and even neighbors can be sadly so dysfunctional together --not applying scripture in personal relationships and behaviors, grudge-holding and church-hopping in hopes of finding truly unconditional love --or a place where they can have their own way and be leaders or else.

Just as Satan comes to church --so the Lord goes into Satan's dens --some times.

You have to do what you feel is what the Lord wants you to do.

No one here is claiming we believe in pre-destination, but after two or three years of quoting scripture and explaining the love of the Living God to them only to be met with the blasphemy and group-led "you don't need no religion" people, there comes a time when you are casting your pearls before swine.

When they put a four letter word beginning with f in front of Jesus' name that's blasphemy. When they tell us he can kiss their butts it's blasphemy.

When they post pornographic pictures and claim it's beautiful it's sin, and if we continue to participate we are also committing a sin, in my opinion.

That's why I left and why I won't go back again. I went back after being gone a couple of years when you contacted me about them, and this time I got more personally involved than last time.

You are a stubborn and strong-willed person, but are you doing it out of flesh or out of leading by the Holy Spirit? You need to pray about that.

I've prayed about that myself and finally felt the Lord was telling me to stay away as the seed had been planted and you can't force them to do anything.

Witnessing on the internet is not the easiest way to win souls to the Lord and He takes a lot of abuse for our pride. He already suffered enough without us participating.

All I'm asking you to do is pray and see if the Holy Spirit wants you to hang out there or Mudrake's instead of doing face to face evangelism on someone who might not be saved if you don't reach them.

God can't contradict Himself. It's the same Holy Spirit. If He's telling me to leave and you to stay that seems to be contradictory so one of us is wrong.

I think what kateb had to say on the topic was my confirmation that I am following the Holy Spirit.

It's hard to admit defeat, but it may not be defeat. You don't know if one of them may actually be listening to the message you have given, but they are tired of seeing it all the time to the point of hurting our witness.

Would you hang out in a whorehouse to save the prostitutes? I doubt it. It's the same as a whorehouse at that blog, and you really need to pray and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Be patient and give Him time to show you and when He does don't go back to the same old same old just because you are strong-willed. That's doing it out of the flesh and will gain nothing. It has to be from the Holy Spirit and He can only take one position on that blog.

I just pray you will not let your strong will and need to win an argument you will never win over there get in your way.

I tell you this in Christian love. Please pray and pray some more until you know the will of God.

I wasn't saying anyone was claiming faith in predestination. I'm saying that when people are resistant to the Gospel, it is easy for the predestinationist to conclude they are probably not predestined to be saved.

I didn't think that was your conclusion or thinking --just an observation that it would be tempting for a predestinationist to come to that conclusion with the resistance at PP.

I don't feel responsible for PP's blasphemy and bad language --nor do I think Christ is further injured by it than He was in HIs crucifixion. They are sinning to their own detriment and they do it whether we are there or not. I don't think Christ suffers abuse for our pride, as you said.

I don't continue there when the rhetoric stays unrelievably hot after I've made my position clear.

Right now we are having some less vitriolic exchanges over there --but of course, it's a mine field.

Don't worry about me, Girls.

You can pray for me, however, as I shall for you.

Stubbornness could just be a negative word for persistance. I prefer to call myself persistent, thank you! : )

I don't know what thread the recent post was on and am not looking for it.

I appologize if my words sounded harsh to you. I have spoken of this to you before and you would not take my advice then. I thought a stronger statement might be more effective.

I do not have any authority over you, but the word of God most certainly does. I am certain that Jesus' exhortation to his disciples certainly applies to you in this situation. Further your discussions with Mudrake often leave you posting things about him that border on slander and evil-speaking. For instance calling him stupid in so many words. As you are a member of the church board I think it is not unreasonable to hold you to the standard of a deacon, at the very least.

1 Tim. 3:
8Deacons, likewise, are to be men worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain. 9They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. 10They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons.

Mudrake may not be a christian but he is your neighbor and brother and should be treated respectfully no matter how badly he treats you. Even more so since he has not had the love of God shed abroad in his heart.

Aaron --I'm respectful to mudrake --and he knows it --comparatively speaking. I don't print his name and address though I know them --nor print photos of his house; I don't impersonate him; I don't make names for him that he doesn't suggest for himself --muck-maker from mud-rake and muck-rake. (After all, he did splatter photos of excrement on my article at his blog once.) And I don't delete him --unless it's just too vile or just "cut and paste" spammed irrelevant nonsense --like articles on OCD or bird mating habits.

I'm unrepentant about this because I have not sinned against this man. Nor hated him. I don't owe him an apology. He exaggerates any thing I do or say and distorts the truth about it. But it doesn't bother me as much as it bothers you all, or I WOULD ignore him and never check up on his blog.

I could make peace with him anytime and mean it genuinely, smile at him sincerely if I were to run into him someplace even now, go to lunch, genuinely even like him for our common interest in writing and our common interest in the same topics --forgiveness is only an olive branch away --which olive branch has been offered to him many times. When he once announced the closing of his past blog, I expressed regrets --which he deleted.

If anything, I have held a mirror to him re his professed liberal tolerance and am challenging him on his professed holier-than-thou righteousness as an agnostic with one foot in his catholic faith.

I think there is a good bit of judgment in your choice of scripture here. Unbelievers will rejoice at what you have done here. Is that good? They are much less critical of each other and much more supportive of each other than the Christian community is toward their own.

While we aren't to call anyone a fool, the Bible says "the fool has said in his heart there is no God." So the Bible does name the fool. But you brought that up about the fool, and I'm not sure why. I didn't even call him stupid as he claimed --I said he "sounded stupid," and I didn't say it publically--he quoted me publically as saying he was stupid --and then did this sock-puppet post quoted in this thread --at his blog --in my name with a phony profile.

This discussion reminds me of talking with leftists who don't mention No. Korea's missiles or Iran's threats to Israel nor Daniel Pearl's beheading --but just do a mea culpa for the USA, blasting us for going to Iraq, for GITMO detainees, for killing innocent civilians accidentally. We become our own worst enemy always pointing at ourselves for all that's wrong in the world --not that we aren't a sinful nation.

Obama suggests we should do away with nuclear weaponry--never mind that rogue nations have them and can't be trusted with them.

Watch that movie, the Kite-runner and see if the Taliban appear to be a group that needs a mere slap on the wrist and freedom to repeat their oppressive tyranny and terror against peace-loving people.

My point for comparison's sake, being, that I don't think we should ignore lies or impersonations of ourselves and other people who think as we do on the internet without even trying to set the record straight --shining light in dark places.

I'm coming out of the shadows to defend you, Barb. In my opinion, you aren't doing anything wrong dealing with Mudrake. People could argue with you over whether it's a waste of time or not but I can't see how that's any of Aaron's or Jeanette's or Kate's business.

By the way... Aaron is racking up a long history of trying to be the conscience for everyone else. His post did come across as very presumptuous and bossy. The Bible is full of harsh words for fools but it also tells us there are times to refuse to give a fool an answer. Mudrake is clearly a fool but it takes wisdom to apply Scripture to this situation. And since Aaron has demonstrated a complete lack of ability to apply Scripture in a common sense or useful way, I'd ignore him, Barb.

I assume this criticism of Aaron has a history from debates you two have had in the past.

We must all be nicer to each other --so that the Body will be known for its love for each other.

That is truly the evidence of the Holy spirit --the joy He gives us and the ability to forgive each other and not de-Christianize each other --even after hot disagreements.

I have come to the conclusion that no one on the planet, in the church or out, likes any kind of criticism or hint of disrespect--but disagreement we must survive -- like Paul and Barnabus.

My French friend, Microdot, wrote just today about the Righteous Sisters, "You should take great pleasure and satisfaction that you have provided "Un Raison d'etre", you have given meaning and purpose to their moribund lives."

Kateb, always the Righteous Pharisee, wants my head on a legal platter for her own amusement.

Barb, the Most Righteous, the Holy Queen of the Bible, Christ's Word Incarnate, has seemingly come under my evil spell and has become my puppet, or rather dog, as in the one owned by the psychologist Pavlov. I snap my fingers and she reacts. I am overwhelmed at my power [or is that Power?]

Christian Apologist- I do appreciate your insight and your attempts to 'Christianize' these ladies. The Tricky Trio dance like concubines of the Old Testament, wallowing in the wickedness contained therein.

It ought to be clear to you, CA, that these Righteous Sisters bathe in the steamy and foul-smelling waters of Leviticus and Deuteronomy rather in the words of Jesus. They exemplify the CHINOS who lurk in the dark corners and shadows of the Christian Faith. In reality, they embrace the abominations, laws, rules, regulations, and harshness of the Old Testament, but confess, albeit dishonestly, the love of Jesus.

That is what is so disgusting, so foul-smelling about their pompous and righteous comments. That is why I hold them up to the light as examples of hypocrisy. Jesus would not recognize then as His followers at all. They are little more than disgruntled and petty women who have never found the center of their own existence, yet can easily and often point out the speck of wood in another's eye.

It is not a speck of wood in your eye --when you censor out legitimate, non-inflammatory disagreement from your blog --claiming to be more broadminded than your opponents. Granted, some of my comments at your blog after you moderated have not handled you with kid gloves --but you have refused to print ANYthing by me --no matter how kind and benign or simply presenting another side of your topics. You hate me; not I,you. You censor opposition and critics; I don't.

It is no mere speck when you create a phony profile to impersonate others, putting vitriolic words in their mouths --slanting their real points of view.

It is no mere speck when you say the people of the religious right should be rounded up for concentration camps and denied free speech as hate speech.

No mere speck when you post people's personal information and home photos on your blog, etc. while stoking hatred toward those people.

No mere speck when you DO reject any offers of peace or friendship despite differences in political and religious beliefs.

No mere speck when you call people bigoted haters for believing the Bible on social issues today.

It seems, Mudrake, that you finally see that a majority of the people in blogville may not agree with you after all and that has got you spittin' mad! Perhaps you finally realize that I am but the tip of the iceburg of numbers of people who would not only disagree with you --but find you hateful. Even at PP, they gave you a taste of what they give me, opposition --as some of the girls recognized that you existed to harrass me over there -- and I don't think you've been back there since. Granted, many of them share your disdain for me BECAUSE I have stated my views.

Yes, CA wants us to take the pollyanna approach to you --but he also said to shake the dust off our feet since you consistently oppose the Gospel of Christ, speaking evil of the Bible in general.

Unlike me, however, he says you will never change --never see the light, in other words.

I have more hope for you. I suspect you have to become miserable first to seek God.

It IS hypocritical to blast me for blogging about you here and others for commenting about you --when you first blogged about me libelously at your blog --before I knew it existed --and blogged about me often since --for things I posted not just at your blog, but at mine. Your one friend and you conversed about me at your blog today.

Turn about is fair play and what goes around comes around.

For me, I've turned the cheek plenty in not retaliating in kind--but I will give you disagreement --and set the record straight when you play sock puppet and distort Christian thinking and impersonate me --because someone should, lest you prattle away saying "Americans think this and that...." and "Christians think this and that" --without you and your readers ever hearing that you are not speaking the truth.

The whole point of freedom of the press is so that TRUTH can out --because it IS the TRuth that shall make you free. That's why a controversial blog like yours --or like mine --should allow other views in the comments. What are you afraid of? Truth packaged in better arguments than your deceptions? Conservatism making more sense then left-wing looniness?

Notice, CA, that Mudrake now thinks you are his ally. You might think you could turn that into positive witness --Matt has tried --but in fact, Mudrake will hate you, too, if you are too good at opposing gay marriage and abortion and believe that we are all sinners who need to believe in Christ as the only way to eternal life with God, the Father.

BTW --I am the one who has said the most directly about you here, Mudrake --not Jeanette and Kateb. They think you are hateful --but that's only because you've made that abundantly clear all on your own --not because they have any personal feuds going with you.

But you DID post Jeanette's home address --and you DID do the sock puppet impersonation of Kateb, as well as me. These are very bad blog behaviors! And someone has to tell you so, evidently! Your cronies won't. The two of you are loyal to each other, to a huge fault.

My concern just stems from being my own education of having been involved with evil things of this nature and for a time, the level of involvement I had with it.

Thinking of course that I was somehow going to force love or kindness into their behavior - or tolerance for others or at least to defend God from attack.

I tell you the truth. Unless you accept Gods free grace, through the atoning sacrifice of Christ Jesus for your sins, you will be judged by those harsh laws, rules, and regulations of the old testament.

Nor is the law an abomination. rather according to Pauls letter to Timothy.
"Now we know that the law is good, provided one uses it legitemately. We know that the law is not meant for a righteous man but for the lawless and rebelious; the ungodly and sinners; the unholy and irreverant; for those who kill their fathers and mothers; for murderers; for the sexually immoral and homosexuals; for kidnappers, liars, perjurors, and for whatever is contrary to the sound teaching, based on the glorious gospel, of our blessed God, that has been entrusted to me."

The more important question you should ask yourself is whether Christ Jesus will recognize you as his follower. Have you made Jesus the Lord and sovereign over your life? Will you let the hypocrisy of others keep you from accepting eternal life? Ask and you will recieve, knock and the door will be opened to you. No matter how great your sins are God will accept and forgive you.

I recognize that we are to call each other to accountability --scripturally. I just don't feel I'm sinning in my responses to the team of Mucksalot. It has to do with what I feel in my heart --but of course, the heart can be deceptive.

And don't forbid me to mess with people's screen names --it's too much fun.

O --and yes, I deny hypocrisy, at least where Mudrake is concerned--and hypocrisy on my part is not Mudrake's spiritual problem --which pre-dates my involvement at his blog or his at mine.

If I heard that the old mucker was ill or injured, I'd be sorry. I think he might say hallelujah when I pass on --or even help me to my demise if he could. He said his father obsessively hated protestants; Mudrake is carrying on the tradition --though the protestants have become the evangelicals and fundamentalists.

when I grew up there was much more polarity between Catholics and protestants than there is today --as we have come together on some basics.

But the church scandals ARE hypocrisies which do not nullify scriptural fact that Jesus is our only Savior and that unrepentant people will not inherit the Kingdom of God. They only prove that scripture which says there will be wolves in sheep's clothing.
