They are not (granted the very rare cases of extra x or y on chromosomes --who usually identify early on as male or female according to predominant characteristics of their anatomy and live successfuly, accordingly, though are sterile. In 'Sun' op-ed, Johns Hopkins faculty members disavow report on gender, sexuality

Several Johns Hopkins University faculty members authored a Baltimore Sun op-ed in which they express concerns about a recent report that they say mischaracterizes the current state of science on gender and sexuality.
They note that the report, "Sexuality and Gender: Findings from the Biological and Psychological and Social Sciences," was "not published in the scientific literature, where it would have been subject to rigorous peer review prior to publication. It purports to detail the science of this area, but it falls short of being a comprehensive review."
The report, published last month by The New Atlantis, was co-authored by Paul R. McHugh, a professor of psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University's School of Medicine; and Lawrence S. Mayer, an Arizona State statistician who formerly held faculty appointments at JHU.
Among its more controversial assertions: That there is no scientific evidence to support the idea that sexual orientation is a biologically fixed property; that is, homosexual people are not "born that way." With regards to transgender people, McHugh and Mayer suggest "a skeptical view toward the claim that sex-reassignment procedures provide the hoped-for benefits."
In their op-ed, Chris Beyrer, Robert W. Blum, and Tonia C. Poteat—all faculty members at JHU's Bloomberg School of Public Health—dispute those and other conclusions in the report. Six other JHU faculty members also contributed to the op-ed, The Sun notes.

Science, and particularly the fields of psychiatry and psychology, has made major advances in our understanding of the complex issues of sexual orientation and gender identity. For instance, accumulating data support the concept that gender identity is not strictly a binary phenomenon. And scientific evidence clearly documents that sexual and romantic attractions to people of the same and/or different sexes are normal variations of the diversity of human sexuality.
The authors add that though they support academic freedom, a commitment to scientific debate "means we must engage the dialogue in a circumstance such as this, and not stand silently by."
We wish to make clear that there are many people at Hopkins who hold a profound and long-standing commitment to the health, wellness, well-being, and fair and non-stigmatizing treatment of LGBTQ people and communities. We do not believe that the "Sexuality and Gender" report cited above is a comprehensive portrayal of the current science, and we respectfully disassociate ourselves from its findings.

Those reported actually having homosexual relations accounted for 14.8% of attempted suicides in 2009 and 30.3% of attempted suicides in 2017.
We MUST stop promoting this to youth as though we were doing them a favor. Even if God had not already forbidden such behaviors and identities, the consequences are potentially quite dire for socially immature and insecure, emotionally volatile youth --and a society that needs people to marry and raise the next generation, giving them both a mother and father.

I am saying the SAME THING is going on with the pig lifestyle; the gluttonous risks are highest among them than for any other demographic group in the US (they get a disproportion percentage of gluttony compared to their percentage of population.) Pigs heed no warnings --we lie and say they are born to oinking --and we promote the born-that-way to be fat lie to young, insecure kids. So, I write about this topic whenever a post is related --or as in this case, lends itself to comparison to a man who ignores warnings and precautions about a deadly condition.
And why do I ? BECAUSE,, as the wife of a big fat oinker, I READ his sources --and I know the data. As the mother of kids with some confused blubberites s, as one who is seeing more people embracegluttonous identities than ever before (according to gov't survey in high schools,) , as one seeing churches sacrifice truth on the altar of mercy, i've been observing this departure from common sense since gluttony recruitment came to the US.
Instead of suggesting that boys and girls don't have to be pigs--and should avoid Barbie's cookies and cupcakes, we made heroic martyrs of all the victims of dead fat pigs --and figured Barbie propaganda would be the cure --in addition now to dialysis and stomach stapling -gluttony is found in tests to be mutating at rate of 29%.
So let's not promote oinking. Let's be as indignant about promotion of gluttony to our youth in school, gov't and tv, as the OP was indignant and mocking the death of someone who ignored the warnings about Covid.
However, one difference: I don't want anyone to die of anything; I want preventions and cures --but also for God's truth about eating to prevail among all people --for our good and His glory.
