GO TO THE LINK FOR THIS STORY--HOT OFF THE PRESS. HAMOUD BIN SALEH ARRESTED IN MID-JANUARY for blogging about his conversion to Christianity.
I don't see how the Saudi gov't can block a blogger website without Blogger's assistance. Of course, he wouldn't be able to have a computer in prison. He's a modern St. Paul.
Could this happen here? and if not, why not? I've already experienced tremendous desire on the part of Left-wing folks to censor Christians in the US.

I had trouble with that link.
Plug in the Persecution address and it should work. the LINK goes to Voice of the Martyrs website but I didn't see the link to their Persecution webpage which has another link to the story about the Saudi Christian.
I'm back to blogging!
There are alot of things being done that aren't supposed to be able to be done, to Christians.
And that's the same reason that these inappropriate actions are ignored by a large part of the world's population. Because it is happening to Christians.
I don't think blogger, in it's entirety, would have participated in blocking this blog - it only takes one person inside of an organization to participate with the devil for evil to be done.
And voiceless Christians (for now) have very little support in trying to get fair treatment.
Jay Sekulow at the aclj is an attorney and you might find it comforting to go to his site. He's won alot of huge legal battles for Christians, here in the USA.
But the people abroad are a very different story. The VOM magazine this month is about Christians in Pakistan. Very disturbing.
How do they do that? I guess it's Fairness Doctrine, or that Christian blogger committed some "hate crime" against the Muslims.
Rick, they do that because they do not believe in a constitutional right for proselytizing or criticism of Islam --which he was apparently doing on his website. Anti-blasphemy laws are not uncommon in the middle-east and to criticize Islam or Mohammad is blasphemy to them. Conversion is punishable by death in the Koran.
Good to see your blog is up and at 'em again!
