I work with Thomas Nelson, and we would love to follow your blog and learn what readers think of this exciting book. I also want to let you know that Dr. Jeremiah has just released a new book titled "Living with Confidence in a Chaotic World" which offers practical instruction for living a confident life in a world filled with chaos and crisis. Please contact me with your mailing address if you are interested in receiving a complimentary copy of "Living with Confidence in a Chaotic World" for review on your site.

Thanks!

Jodi Hughes
pubintern@thomasnelson.comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11336336402532057954noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526647904385272392.post-40355983644018672382009-12-30T12:15:13.810-06:002009-12-30T12:15:13.810-06:00Maybe your fundamentalist parents are hateful, Ste...Maybe your fundamentalist parents are hateful, Steve, (are they?) but I am not. And we know that radical Islamists and Hindus are hateful by their 21st Century acts--and that atheistic/communistic gov'ts. are also intolerant and hateful and against freedom by their acts in the 20th and 21st Centuries.

Just because I have higher hopes than they themselves do for evolutionists, atheists, people of other religions, terrorists, homosexuals, transgenders and young girls seeking abortions, and doctors who perform them -- does NOT mean I hate them at all. Same way with anyone who disagrees with me about anything. I have no desire to explode planes or heads.

It is the unspiritual mind that cannot comprehend love (and TRUE tolerance --the ability to get along and even "like" someone despite disagreement) -so he sees agreement and approval by laws as a path to tolerance and tolerance as a path to peace. But THIS kind of tolerance is intolerant toward disagreement and wants to silence it --and oppress the religious.

Real and rightful tolerance is not agreement--it's agreeing to care for each other despite our differences.

That I can do. Can Mudrake and his kind? They cannot. It's a spiritual thing. He has no friends who do not agree with him --by his own choice. He cannot even be cordial (especially toward women with whom he disagrees. The Christian men are slightly more respected by him.) How miserable to be so consumed by hatred--and to be so mysogenistic.Barbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05016832868807957194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526647904385272392.post-36608705908445670702009-12-30T06:47:06.424-06:002009-12-30T06:47:06.424-06:00The paradox of fundementalist Christianity is that...The paradox of fundementalist Christianity is that you must be two people at once. A loving Christian - exemplifying Jesus's example of "loving your neighbor" ect.. and at the same time being completely intolerant and exhibiting the fruits of that intolerance which ultimately makes you hate your neighbor. Until fundementalism reconciles this parodox, it will continue in decline. The world is becoming too small to truck intolerance of any sort any more... The fruit of intolerance is exploding planes and exploding heads.stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06187937248190953487noreply@blogger.com
